Welcome to the website of Cross-National Studies: Interdisciplinary Research and Training Program (CONSIRT).
The CONSIRT Program has been established by the Departments of Sociology and Political Science of The Ohio State University and the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, and the Graduate School for Social Research at the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN and GSSR PAN, respectively).
The main objective of the CONSIRT Program is to stimulate and facilitate research, graduate training, and undergraduate education. Within its international network of institutions and scholars, CONSIRT provides the opportunity for preparing and administering complex research projects with a cross-national perspective. CONSIRT serves scholars at all steps of the research process, from research design to data collection, through data analysis, to the dissemination of results.
We invite you to explore this website for more information about the program, CONSIRT administration and the Steering Committee, CONSIRT’s scholar and institutional network, our research (CONSIRT Labs, projects, publications, Harmonization newsletter, the social science methodology journal Ask: Research and Methods, Working Papers Series and conferences), our training programs in cross-national studies (including workshops and seminars), upcoming events, and links of interest.
